Too Risky to Experiment on the Future of Humanity

I am alarmed by the financial and moral liabilities the school board members and school district would assume by coercing any student to take a vaccine that is not yet fully FDA-approved for children 15 years of age and younger, and only very recently approved for children 16 and older. Note that as of August 23, 2021 the Pfizer vaccine is NOT fully FDA-approved for ages 12 to 15. For ages 12 to 15 it is only “authorized” under the Emergency Use Authorization.[1]This vaccine was fast-tracked and HAS SUBSTANTIALY benefited those at highest risk of severe COVID-19; the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions. However, there are recognized risks for children, two of which are Myocarditis in young men and substantial menstrual changes in young women. There are studies which conclude that young men are at greater risk from the effects of Myocarditis than from COVID-19 infection. All of humanity would be negatively impacted if it were to turn out that the menstruation change symptoms from the COVID-19 vaccination indicate harm to human reproduction.[2][3] Inadequate time has passed to observe the long-term effects of vaccination and to prove that the vaccines won’t have negative long-term impacts on 12- to 18-year-old children. These children have most of their lives ahead of them and the financial and quality of life costs associated with substantial long-term side effects could be devastating. I fully expect that CSD 509J will be sued by students and families to cover the long-term costs of care for issues directly resulting from mandated and coercive vaccination requirements.
